C Language:-C is a programming language which is developed by Dennis Ritchie in 1972 at AT&T Bell Lab. of United State Of America.C is a third generation programming language.
C is developed after ALGOL(Algorithm Language),CPL(Combined Programming Language),BPCL(Basic Combined Programming Language),B language.

Features of C language:-

1)C is popular because it is reliable,simple,easy etc.
2)It is also called mother language because most of the language are based on C.
3)It is also called Process Oriented Language(POL).
4)Its support top-down approach.
5)C is very efficient Language.
6)C is case-sensitive.
7)C is also called as middle level language.
8)C is suitable with both system and application software.
9)Program Written in C language are usually small.
10)C is flexible means you can updated,extended,maintained etc.

Token in C language:-

Token can be character set,reserved keywords,Identifier,Constant,data-type or operator.


Character:-Character means Alphabet(like a to z,A to Z),Digits(0-9),Blank Space,Special Symbol(like #,@,$,% etc.) .

Reserved Keywords:-C has 32 Reserve keywords which have predefined meaning in compiler.In which some are-auto,break,char,do,do-while,goto,for,int,if,long,else,enum etc.

Identifier:-Identifier are user defined like structure,variable,union,array etc.

Constant:-Constant are the variables which are not change during the execution of the program.

Operator:-C language has three operator namely unary,binary and ternary operator.For briefly see here.

Data Type:-C has 4 type of 'data type' namely-

1)Primary Data type.
2)Secondary Data type.
3)User defined Data type.
4)Empty Data type.
